Twisted Traces successfully provides the much-in-use 4 layer FR-4 PCBs known for their high-quality, precision-made and durable structure. According to experts, 4 layer PCB is better and is recommended for small and simple boards and breakouts. However, it is not usually used for CPU boards with memory interface; but is considered suitable for microcontroller boards and base boards. Having being made of FR-4, these PCBs are known for their qualities: life flame resistance, high strength, versatility, water-resistance, and so on. We use FR-4 as a material to build our PCBs as it is known for its usage in electrical insulator due to its considerable mechanical strength.
The material is capable of retaining its electrical insulating qualities and mechanical values in dry as well as humid conditions, and hence proves to be of high utility for a number of mechanical and electrical applications. Basically, FR-4 is a grade that is designated to glass-reinforced epoxy laminate sheets and is composed of woven fiberglass cloth with an epoxy resin binder. FR stands for 'Fire Retardant'. It comes with good strength to weight ratios and is known as a popular high-pressure thermoset plastic laminate grade that is widely used for manufacturing PCBs.
Please note: Number of boards is calculated from board area and is subject to change after panel layout is complete.
